First Class Faucets: What Resellers Need to Know Before You Bid

Looking for name-brand plumbing inventory for your resale business? First Class Faucets offers buyers an opportunity to purchase faucet and plumbing products at liquidation pricing. Before you bid, it’s important to understand the specific resale and intellectual property restrictions that apply.

Why Understanding the Terms Matters

In the resale business, knowing exactly what you can—and cannot—do with the inventory you purchase is essential. Every liquidation opportunity may come with its own conditions, and those requirements can affect how you market, sell, and represent the products to your customers.

Breaking the rules can have serious consequences. Depending on the requirements of a particular auction, violations may lead to loss of future buying opportunities, disqualification from auctions, or other consequences under the applicable terms. Misrepresenting products can also create confusion with customers and potentially damage your reputation as a reseller.

Taking the time to review the auction terms before bidding helps you make sure the inventory is a good fit for your business and that you have a resale strategy that complies with the requirements.

Know the Terms Before You Bid

All First Class Faucets purchases are made on an “AS IS” basis. By bidding, you agree to the conditions associated with the purchase, including restrictions on how the products can be represented and resold.

Resale Restrictions

First Class Faucets products may be resold, but buyers must follow specific guidelines:

    • Do not represent the products as “New,” “Like New,” “Authorized,” or “Certified,” or use language suggesting the products are covered by a manufacturer warranty.
    • Products may only be sold within the United States. You may not sell to anyone outside the U.S. or to someone intending to resell outside the U.S.
    • Do not contact Moen or Liquidity Services regarding warranty or return requests for these purchases.

These requirements also apply to representations made by your customers, so make sure your resale listings accurately describe the merchandise and its condition.

Intellectual Property Restrictions

First Class Faucets buyers must also follow restrictions regarding Moen intellectual property.

You may not use, or allow your customers to use, Moen marketing assets—including promotional photos, product diagrams, logos, or other marketing materials—in connection with resale without Moen’s express prior written consent.

Additionally, purchasing products from a Moen authorized reseller does not establish a relationship with Moen and does not make you an authorized Moen reseller or dealer.

Is First Class Faucets Inventory Right for Your Business?

Before bidding, make sure you are comfortable with the purchase terms and can:

    • Resell the inventory within the United States
    • Accurately represent the product condition
    • Avoid suggesting manufacturer warranty coverage
    • Resell without using restricted Moen marketing assets
    • Purchase the inventory on an “AS IS” basis

Understanding these requirements upfront can help you develop a compliant resale strategy and make the most of your First Class Faucets purchase.
